The poster is a black and white photograph of construction from Regency-era - a stair architecture in a medieval stone castle. This era encompasses its own architectural style in earlier or later of the early 19th century. This architecture comes in financial recovery after a long period of crisis. It coincides with the Biedermeier style in the German-speaking lands, the Federal style in the United States and the French Empire style. Regency style is also applied to interior design and styles of clothing for both men and women.  We can indicate Regency architecture by the increased use of a range of diversified revival styles, from Gothic through Greek to Indian, as alternatives to the main neoclassical stream.  One of two main streams of Regency style is a classical style using the philosophy and traditional designs of Greek and Roman architecture. This style gained high interest and its refined elegance reached beyond architecture to affect painting, furniture and even dress. The other is Gothic Revival which was based on medieval architecture, but used more modern methods of construction and substituted cheaper materials.  The latter is what inspired the monument in the poster. It’s a construction that looked like a church, built from stones. It has decorative details like rooftops on top of handrails, arched gates, arched windows,... Try decorating your space with this poster of Regency stair architecture to bring there an antique ambiance!
